Craft-I was thinking of different places to place my red high heels where they normally would not be. A tanning bed was one of those places. I placed the shoes at the head of the bed and turn the tanning bed on to show the effect of the bright lights. One shoe is standing straight up and the other fallen over to show the different patterns on the shoes.
Concept-
The photo is supposed to show an odd place for shoes to be. No one wears shoes in a tanning bed, therefor it is one of the utmost craziest places to find shoes.
Composition-
I shot photographs of the shoes with the tanning bed fully open, half way open and then closed. I found the best shot with the shoes at the head with the bed closed because the lights did not take over the photo, just added an accent.
